Hannibal: Classic Edition

The world shivers as the vengeful Carthage launches a devastating war against Rome, a conflict raging across Italian and Iberian peninsulas, Corsica, Sardinia, Sicily, and North Africa. Stand with some of the greatest generals in history – Hannibal Barca or Scipio Africanus – and lead your empire to victory and glory!

Hannibal is an award-winning asymmetrical card-driven wargame with rules and cards upgraded from previous editions. Use Strategy Cards to maneuver armies and famous generals of the time, raise new troops, gain political control of provinces and regions across the Mediterranean, and play powerful historical events. Achieve victory by capturing your enemy's capital, holding more provinces at the last round or by removing all your opponent's PC markers from the map.

Compared to the previous Golden Geek edition, the Classic Edition:

Revives the classic Second Punic War scenario as the core of the game.

Has an updated rulebook that reflect this, and addresses all known outstanding questions and errata.

Adds a Playbook with a series of learn-to-play tutorials.

Replaces the plastic miniatures with cardboard standees.

Adds the Sun of Macedon expansion General and strategy cards as a newoptional rule.
