Fighting Wings: Data Card Set #45 – Hawker Sea Hurricane Variants

Fighting Wings ADC set #45 features one page of aircraft briefings and the following three updated to third edition standard of Hawker Sea Hurricane data cards:

• Sea Hurricane Mk.IA / IB (First Hurricanes modified for shipborne operations)

• Sea Hurricane Mk.IC (Naval model with upgraded armament of 4 x 20mm cannons)

• Sea Hurricane Mk.IIC (Naval model of standard RAF Hurricane Mk.IIC)

Arriving at sea just in time, Hawker's Hurricane goesaboard Royal Navy A/C carriers, significantly upgrading air cover over the fleet. If the Fulmar had speed issues, the Hurricane made up for, despite the lack of folding wings, limiting the nos. each carrier could handle.
