In Panda Gang, players compete to collect panda cards by quickly identifying which panda best matches a randomly determined condition. The cards are spread face up in a circle, with some cards fully visible and others partially covered.
At the start of each round, one player rolls the die to determine which feature matters: the largest or smallest panda, the heaviest or lightest panda, or the longest or shortest bamboo stick. All players then simultaneously grab the panda card they think best matches the condition. The selected cards are turned over and their values compared. The player whose panda best fulfills the condition keeps their card as a point, while all other selected cards are discarded from the game.
A new round begins with the next player rolling the die. Players continue collecting cards until someone reaches the number of cards required for the player count: 10 cards with two players, 8 with three, 6 with four, 5 with five, or 3 with six players. That player wins the game. In games with four to six players, the game can also end when fewer cards remain than there are players; in that case, the player with the most cards wins, with the shortest bamboo breaking a tie.
