Fucking Metal Fest is a competitive card game in which players compete to build the best metal festival. Players recruit bands, manage their resources, play events to disrupt their opponents, and try to attract the largest audience.
Players build their festival lineup by playing band cards, each associated with a musical style and country. Bands provide Fans and can be used to generate Beer, which is spent to play Event cards. Players can also place bands on their opponents' festivals, potentially disrupting their plans.
The game ends when a player places their sixth band, or places the sixth band on an opponent's festival. Players then score their festivals according to their bands, Fans and other effects. A player can also trigger an immediate victory by playing their third Mythic Event.
