Stickumi is a competitive card game centered around tactical duels and wagering. Players compete using Duel cards belonging to three types: DNA, Chemical, and Universe. Each type has strengths and weaknesses against the others, forming a rock-paper-scissors-style relationship.
Each round begins with a wager. The player controlling the wager chooses how many Treasure cards to put at stake, from 1 to 3. The players then play Duel cards and resolve the confrontation according to the relationships between the three types.
The winner takes all Treasure cards wagered during the round. Players therefore have to balance the value of the potential reward against the risk of losing their wager. The game ends when the available duels are exhausted or when a player has no Treasure cards remaining.
Stickumi is designed around a growing collection of Duel cards. Future cards can be used to build a customized deck while respecting the deck-building structure of 10 cards of each of the three Duel types and 20 Treasure cards.
