Teh Tarik (the direct translation being "pulled tea") is a Malaysian drink. When making this drink, you pour milk tea from one large metal cup to another at a large height difference, creating froth and cooling the tea in the process.
In Teh Tarik Game, you must play a card every turn, either to your team's cup or your opponent team's. Cards must be played in order. If you fail to play a card, you spill your tea, turning all the cards you have played so far into penalty points. You have limited opportunities to score points, and you must use them wisely. Sometimes you voluntarily spill your tea in order to save your scoring card for a bigger reward.
