Welcome to All Hell Let Loose: Great War
Straightforward rules for fast playing 6mm WW1 Wargaming that support the tactics of the period!
All Hell Let Loose: Great War is a set of WW1 wargaming rules covering the whole of the Great War, from the same team that produced the popular All Hell Let Loose WW2 ruleset. This game use the same core mechanics and adds in plugin options for massive bombardments, barrages, trenches and fortifications, gas and many other features of the Great War.
Whilst designed for large scale 6mm battles the game's felxibility means it can be played with any size of figure and players decides whether the soldiers represent individuals, sections, platoons or companies.
The rules support refighting encounter battles, battles of manoeuvre and trench assaults allowing players to refight any Great War battle. Whilst specifically designed for WW1 these rules will also support players wishing to refight the earlier Balkan and Turkish wars and the post war conflicts in Poland and Russia including the Russian Civil War.
Simple and adaptable army lists are provided for the major powers. Photocopy ready Quick Reference and counter sheets are included. Three introductory scenarios are provided to introduce the rules and types of battle.

What figure scale do I need to use?
The rules have been designed primarily with 6mm figures in mind, however they will easily work with 3mm or 10/12mm figures without any needing any changes. 15mm or 28mm figures on large bases can still be used for the game but will require some tweaks to ranges, move distances and area of effects. If, however, these figures are based individually then the game should work just fine as it is.
