YUAN, The Art of War, CHINA box, is a game of reflection and strategy for 2 to 4 players, with games lasting up to one hour, regardless of the number of players.
The aim is to control a certain number of temples at the end of the turn. As this number decreases by one every two turns, one player is bound to reach the target within the hour.
Each player programs his actions behind his screen, reveals them and carries them out on the central board simultaneously.
These actions can be developmental, to expand your territory peacefully through colonization or expansion, fortification, to strengthen the defense of your cities or increase their production, or militarization, to create armies or attack enemy territories!
You'll have to be subtle and guess your opponents' intentions, as all players program and apply effects at the same time.
At the end of the round, each player adjusts their province and temple control levels to prepare for the next round! Province control allows you to reduce the cost of actions and perform more powerful actions.
