The City Limits expansion for Rainbow Blvd. adds new ways to expand and refine your rainbow building strategy with modular content that can be mixed and matched with the base game.
The Cloudbursts module introduces new rainbow pieces that interact with the market in unique ways! These new clear pieces let players cover colors and lower their values without increasing the value of other colors. This creates tighter, more strategic market control and new opportunities for clever planning.
The Suburbs module expands Hopewell Springs with a new board that adds support for a 5th player and offers 6 new foundation building areas, and as well as new blueprint cards. Players can continue building, playing, and scoring in the city they know and love, or move out to the suburbs to chase new rewards and strategic opportunities.
The modules in City Limits can be used in any combination with the base game, and/or the Coffee Break and Bright Ideas modules. A 5th player is supported with the new Suburbs module, however players can enjoy the new Suburbs board and additional foundation spaces with less than 5 players, if they like.
