The second stage of the battle 11:00-16:00. «Charge of the Light Brigade».
By 11:00 the Allies had moved enough troops to the battlefield to try to retake the redoubts lost in the morning.
Could we call the actual attack by the British Light Horse Brigade a full-fledged counterattack? It’s doubtful.
Despite the fact that quite significant forces were supposed to be involved in the attack, the task was set so vaguely, and the coordination of the allies’ actions turned out to be below any criticism.
The result is well known to everyone. And it is clear that it cannot be considered the result of a full-fledged counterattack.
